BC AdventureSmart is seeking outreach educators for the Summer 2020 season. One of the crews will be based in the Lower Mainland and another crew based in Prince George. As a collective provincial team, the outreach educators will travel throughout British Columbia increasing awareness to help reduce the number and severity of search and rescue incidents. Applicants who live in the general area of these two locations are encouraged to apply. There is no housing offered with these positions.

AdventureSmart is a national, non-profit awareness program uniquely working with the BC Search & Rescue Association focusing on outdoor safety education in the Province of BC. The program’s objective is to increase awareness helping reduce the number and severity of search and rescue incidents by promoting personal preparedness, encouraging safe outdoor activities and practices.
